Project Payday Review

Free Project Payday Membership

A WAY TO EARN SOME EXTRA CASH

Project Payday is not a get-rich quick scheme, but a way to bring home a little extra bacon.

To sign up for the program, you are required to fill out one offer (most of which only cost $1 or $2) which Project Payday will send you a rebate. If you don’t want to wait for the rebate you can also fill out one of the free offers and get your Project Payday membership instantly. One such offer is the Work at Home Manifesto where you will still get a rebate of $2 for filling out the form. Essentially, this form is nothing more than adding your name and email to the Work at Home Manifesto mailing list.

This is one of the few legitimate ways of making money from home. This system has skyrocketed over the past year. It is easy to do, costs you nothing, and it really works. How many programs have you found that can say that? And the cherry on the top of this cake is that a complete internet novice can make money with it just as easily as a seasoned veteran can.

PROJECT PAYDAY IS FREE

In the past, people have had to pay for Project Payday, a 65 page eBook describing the techniques on how the Average Joe (or Jane) can make extra money from home. Now that Project Payday is available for free, I highly recommend that you give it a shot. You won’t get rich with it, but anyone can make a decent income with it. The average is $100 -$200 a day.

HOW IT WORKS

I’m sure you have all seen the “Get a free iPod!” type of promotion. The catch is that you sign up for free or for a nominal fee for a promotion in order to receive that iPod. The promotion you need to sign up for is usually something like the Columbia House CD club or a credit card company. The website giving away the free iPod gets paid for each person it refers to the vendor (in the case of our fictitious example, Columbia House pays the website for getting you to fill out the promo offer and join the CD club). This isn’t a scam as you might think. The website does actually give away free iPods. The catch is that in order to get that ipod you have to refer 5 or 10 friends to sign up for the new Columbia House CD club, as well. This promoting website gets – let’s say $25 – every time they refer someone to Columbia House. They make you refer 5 people in order to get that “free” iPod. The website makes $125 and gives you an ipod that they bought for $50. Everyone wins. Columbia House gets 5 new people to bombard with CD’s (for the rest of their sorry lives), the website makes a $75 profit, and you get a brand new iPod.

The problem of course is that you have no intention of bothering 5 to 10 friends or family members to ask them to sign up for the CD promotion. This means that the website gets a lot of single referrals and doesn’t have to give away many free iPods. Good for the website, not so good for you who is iPodless.

So, to solve this problem, people created forums dedicated to the buying and selling these types of referral programs to get free iPods, TV’s, digital cameras, cash, just about anything you can think of. If you sign up at one of these forums, you will find people who are willing to pay you $25 if you will sign up for some promo as their referral.

Let’s say I find a website offering $1000 to anyone who signs up for a credit card membership and gets 10 friends to sign up, as well. I would love to get the $1000 but I know that I will never get 10 friends to sign up. This is where these forums come in. I sign up for the credit card and then post an ad on the forum saying that I am willing to pay 10 people $50 each if they will go to Website A, use my referral ID, and sign up for a credit card. I put out $500 and got back $1000 from Website A.

In case you are wondering, I do get the money because the website was paid $1650 from the credit card company for the 11 referrals. The system is underwritten by large corporations who are willing to spend massive amounts on money on Internet advertising which used to be spent on old advertising methods. With 11 new card holders, the credit card company will make back its investment.

HOW TO MAKE MONEY USING THIS SYSTEM

Sign up for a promotion advertised by someone on one of these forums using their referral ID. Payment is made through Paypal and is paid out instantly. All transactions are carried out on the forums, so anyone not playing fair is immediately targeted and his or her career is cut short. Each buyer and seller is rated by the people with whom they have done business, much like eBay, so you have a notion of the person’s history before you commit to any transactions.

You can also be the person advertising the referrals so you can claim the freebie. This is where the money is. Like the example above, you spend (invest) $500 and get back $1000. It doesn’t take a genius to figure out this return on investment. Everyone gets a piece of the corporate advertising budget and for once you can make money online without having to screw some poor sucker with a crappy eBook or outdated software program that won’t make him rich.

THE DOWNSIDE

The thing I do not like about this system is that I have to sign up for all these promos in order to get paid by others for my referral. Some sign ups are free and are not a problem. Most, however, require you to give them a credit card. After the initial 1 month free trial period, you will automatically be charged a monthly fee. In the Columbia House example, you give them your credit card and they charge you $0.49 for the first month and send you 12 CDs. But, if you don’t cancel at the end of the trial period, you’ll get billed every month (and it’s likely much, much more than the introductory $0.49).

This problem is not insurmountable, but it does mean that you have to stay on top of things. You will have to keep organized lists to remind you to cancel all the promotions you signed up for. None of this is hard, per se, but it is a pain in the butt.

There are more angles to this whole enterprise, but this just gives you a rough idea of what it is all about. If you are interested in learning more and want to pursue this then I encourage you to sign up for Project Payday. It used to cost $35 (and was worth it), but now it’s free. It lays out the entire strategy in a simple, step by step format. But more importantly, it gives you access to all the specialized forums and websites involved in this program. You can do this on your own without Project Payday but it would take you a lot of time to find all the resources and forums. And it is free, so you literally have nothing to lose.

A PERSONAL EXPERIENCE WITH PROJECT PAYDAY

My friend had the following experience with Project Payday…

“I’ve been doing this half-heartedly for about two weeks. It is a bit of work, not hard work, but it is time consuming. This system works, but you’re not going to get rich doing it. It’s not bad if you need a little extra change. Much better than going to Check City and paying 200% interest every 15 days on your post-dated check. If you did want to make a lot of money, you’d have to put in a lot of time and effort into this. I spent about 5 hours on it the first few days by agreeing to be a referral for others, getting paid to sign up for promotions. I did 10 and made $250 the first day before subtracting the $36 it cost me on my credit card for signing up for the promos. I now need to remember to cancel all these promos before the trial periods end. The second day I made $200 minus the credit card charges. The third day brought $125 less the credit card charges. Basically, I did less work each day and made less money.

Based on my experience, I prefer strategy two over strategy one. I have only done it once, but I made more money with less effort doing the second strategy.

A website offered $600 in cash deposited into my PayPal account if I referred 10 people to its promotion. I offered 10 people $30 each to sign up and had my $600 before the day was done. This blew me away. I don’t ever remember having doubled my money that fast on anything before. The only reason I haven’t dropped everything to concentrate more on this is that it took the entire day to make $300. This works out to about $50 an hour. Not too shabby, but not get rich stuff either. This program is better suited for stay at home Moms and those who have time on their hands.”

FINAL REPORT

In the end, I would recommend Project Payday if you just want to earn some extra money, not if you are looking to get rich quick. Project Payday falls more into the category on an online job. You are your own boss, but you don’t get any money unless you put in the time. It is ideal for someone who wants to make money from home. Again, there are no residuals and it won’t make you money while you’re sleeping at night. You work, you make money.
